Board Leadership

Gilbert Santiago, President

Gilberto Santiago has been an active member of CSRP for over four years and currently serves as its President. Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Gilberto is passionate about the growth of the city and the development of its future leaders. His vision for CSRP is to expand its reach across all ages and industries—whether members are in leadership roles or not—by fostering skill-building, professional growth, and meaningful networking among like-minded individuals.

In addition to his role at CSRP, Gilberto works full-time as a construction estimator with Nunn Construction, a commercial general contractor serving Southern Colorado. His professional background in construction and project planning brings a grounded, strategic perspective to CSRP’s initiatives.

Looking ahead, Gilberto is focused on expanding CSRP’s committees to include leadership institutes, professional development programs, and increased opportunities for youth through job shadowing, internships, and employment pathways. He also aims to build strong partnerships with several Colorado Springs chambers to support CSRP’s growth and broaden its impact. With the support of the board, he is committed to rebranding and rebuilding CSRP into an inclusive association that serves all of Colorado Springs and El Paso County.

As a cancer survivor, Gilberto brings a deeply personal belief to his leadership: no dream is ever out of reach. His journey is a testament to resilience, purpose, and the power of community.
